Courtney Olsom became the newest member of the Chamber team on March 28. She grew up in Rochester, MN but made her home in Wisconsin. She received her BS in 2014 at UW-River Falls and MSED in 2019 at UW-La Crosse. Her professional experience is in higher education where she has worked at both 2-year and 4-year colleges.
Courtney can be found around town with her wife, and 2 cats in strollers, exploring all the parks in the area. Courtney and her wife have a goal to have a picnic at every park! If Courtney is out of town, she is most likely visiting family in Rochester and Marshfield or hanging out with friends in the Twin Cities. Courtney also collects LEGO Harry Potter sets, makes cross-stitch art and consumes a lot of true crime media.
As the new Workforce Initiatives Director, Courtney hopes to expand the community’s awareness of numerous ways to enter the workforce including on-the-job training, apprenticeships, various higher education certificates and degrees, and many more! She is excited to bring her knowledge of retention and her point of view as an Eau Claire transplant to the Chamber.
Please join the Chamber in welcoming Courtney!
