Kristel Tavare is the Director of PK-12 Initiatives at Chippewa Valley Technical College. She has been in this role for the past five years. Prior to CVTC she has served as an academic advisor at University of Wisconsin- Stout, a K12 counselor, and a teacher. Her program is the fastest growing area of the college and a leader in the state of Wisconsin. She has worked with high school administrators and college deans to add new college program options for high school students every year. Over the past four years CVTC has seen an increase of 150%, increasing student participation from 1,000 students in 2016 to over 5,000 students in 2022.
