CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• December 1: First say to circulate nomination papers
• December 27: incumbents to file notification for noncandidacy
• First Tuesday in January: Last day to file Declaration of Candidacy (Form EL-162), Nomination Papers (Form EL-169), and Campaign Finance Registration Statement (Form CF-1)
• Third Tuesday in February: Spring Primary (if necessary)
• First Tuesday of April: Spring Election
